Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement Golf Saudi’s Business Development Strategy and Methodologies.
• Articulate the Mission, Vision, Objectives and KPIs for the Business Development [sub-sub-departments].
• Develop and implement the Business Plans, Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Projects in accordance with Golf Saudi’s overall Strategy and direction.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Golf Saudis operations across all its Commercial [sub-departments] including Marketing, Events, Academies, Golf Management Services, etc. to accurately identify the points of improvement as well as potential growth opportunities.
• Support Golf Saudi in obtaining better Brand recognition and financial growth.
• Conduct rigorous market research, market studies and analysis to identify, monitor and evaluate new business and market opportunities.
• Identify profitable business opportunities and develop long-term business growth strategies.
• identify new markets, emerging market trends and Customer needs/drivers.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
• Conduct pre-assessment, commercial due-diligence, and feasibility studies of potential opportunities/investments/partnerships/etc.
• Build valuable relationships and connections with prospective clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Assess marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommend improvements as needed.
• Present business or marketing opportunities to company management.
• Attend meetings with clients and advisors and notify Management of the key business developments.
• Build solid relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
• Develop business proposals and presentations to nurture new opportunities and partnerships.
• Research and identify automation software and software platforms that could enhance Golf Saudi operations.
• The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the department.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, or any related field is mandatory.
• Master’s, post-graduate degree or equivalent in business administration (MBA), or any related field is advantageous.
• Minimum [10] years of relevant leadership and technical experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience in a Business Development role involving work experience in Marketing and Sales,
• including but not limited to restaurants, hotels, resorts, sports clubs and in particular Golf Clubs is mandatory.
• Previous work experience in sports Management corporations, in the Golf industry, and/or the KSA is advantageous.
• Previous work experience as a Business Development Manager is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
• Fluent in English, Arabic is highly recommended.
• PC proficient (Oracle Fusion, Microsoft, etc.)
• Operational and Financial knowledge
• Golf industry/market awareness as well as up to date with industry and growth projections
• Understanding of the international Golf Rules and Regulations
• Possess cultural and political awareness
• Golf Saudi Commercial Department operations (Investment, Marketing and Golf Commercial)
• Knowledge in Business Development, Research and Strategy
