Security Manager
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Create and execute security plans for events, high-profile activities, and daily operations.
• schedule and supervise security team shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training to ensure high standards of security.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents, prepare detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of surveillance systems and security equipment.
• Monitor CCTV footage and other security systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular drills and training exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations in coordination with all departments.
• Coordinate with other departments to address security-related concerns and ensure smooth operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for security-related issues and communications.
• Follow up on PO, PR and provide the necessary resources to ensure business continuity.
• Prepare the Security Section annual budget and participate in the Department’s budgeting cycle and process.
• The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the department.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are a plus.
• Minimum of [8] years of experience in security management or a similar role.
• Proven experience in managing security teams and implementing security strategies.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of security systems, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Experience in the sports or hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in security software and surveillance technology.
