Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the development and implementation of HSSE policies, procedures, and programs.

• Ensure these are effectively communicated and adhered to across the organization.

• Aid in conducting regular risk assessments and safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Assist in the investigation of HSSE incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of incidents and ensure timely reporting.

• Monitor compliance with HSSE regulations and company policies.

• Assist in preparing reports for regulatory agencies and internal audits.

• Maintain and update HSSE documentation, including safety manuals, procedures, and incident records.

• Prepare regular HSSE performance reports and contribute to management reviews.

• Assist in monitoring and managing environmental practices, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

• Support initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.

• Aid in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.

• Assist in conducting emergency drills and ensuring that all employees are familiar with emergency procedures.

• Support the implementation and monitoring of security measures to protect personnel, assets, and information.

• Assist in conducting security assessments and updating security protocols as needed.

• Facilitate effective communication between the HSSE department and other teams.

• Assist in coordinating HSSE activities and ensuring that HSSE concerns are addressed promptly.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of HSSE practices by providing feedback, suggesting enhancements, and staying updated with industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional certification in HSSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in an HSSE management role, preferably in the construction or sports industry

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.

• Proficiency in MS Office and HSSE management software
