Responsibilities:

• Lead the selection, implementation, and deployment of new software applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for application lifecycle management, including upgrades, enhancements, and retirements.

• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for application innovation and optimization.

• Coordinate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to integrate applications with existing systems and platforms.

• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize application performance, usability, and user experience.

• Develop and implement application governance policies and procedures to ensure consistency, reliability, and security.

• Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with vendors to address technical issues, implement upgrades, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

• Evaluate vendor products and solutions to ensure they meet organizational requirements and standards.

• The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT applications management, with a focus on application lifecycle management, project management, and vendor management.

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong technical background with expertise in software applications, platforms, and technologies.
• Proven project management skills with experience leading complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Agile are desirable.
