F&B Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the bar team in the day-to-day operations of the outlet.
- Ensure all areas are prepared for service at least 15 minutes before opening.
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of food prep, production, and bar areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Oversee guest interactions to ensure a high level of satisfaction and address any issues or requests promptly.
- Monitor the dining and bar area for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
- Act as a primary point of contact for guest inquiries and requests regarding beverage offerings.
- Coordinate and conduct daily team line-ups to communicate daily goals and service standards.
- Ensure staff adhere to grooming and attire standards, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Schedule shifts and manage workloads based on business needs, adjusting optimize staffing.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks on all bar products and supplies, ensuring accurate records and timely reorders.
- Ensure all necessary food and beverage supplies are available for service and properly organized using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain an adequate supply of products.
- Assist in creating and updating the beverage menu, ensuring a range of options to meet guest preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage trends, incorporating them into the menu to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared to high standards, with consistency in presentation and taste.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including preparing supplies, setting up tools, and ensuring areas are ready for the next day.
- Inspect storage areas to confirm cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct end-of-shift checks to ensure all stations are clean, organized, and ready for the next day’s service.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years in a bar or F&B supervisory role, preferably within a luxury or high-end hospitality setting.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong mixology and beverage knowledge, including menu development.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in inventory management and stock control.
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
